Scott Acus, MA, MSW, LISW-S, LCDCIII
 

Scott provides counseling services to clients of all ages.  With over ten years in the field, Scott has experience with the full range of counseling subjects, including kids' behavior issues, grief and loss, depression and bipolar, trauma, surviving abuse, substance abuse, other mental health issues, marriage / relationship counseling, and parenting.  For more, you can check out this recent article from the Bryan Times.

Kathrine Acus, MT-BC
 
Kathrine has been providing high-quality music therapy services in the tri-state area for eleven years.  While demonstrating therapeutic success with children, geriatric, MR/DD, mentally ill, and autistic persons, she has also increased the availability of music therapy services by accessing funds not previously utilized in serving these persons. In addition to creating in-house music therapy programs at numerous agencies, Kathrine also founded and served as Clinical Training Director of the music therapy internship program at Bi-County Services in Indiana.

Amanda Best, SWA, CDCA

 

 Amanda has six years of professional experience, working with both adults and youth.  She is also a prevention educator, with two years' working experience in schools and facilitating adult/youth chemical dependency education classes. Amanda provides substance abuse counseling and prevention services.  She provides direct services to our Multiple Domain Therapy clients.

Dave Brown, LPCC

Dave has over twenty years' experience working with adults and adolescents.  He works with a full range of counseling issues, including grief and loss, depression and bipolar, trauma, surviving abuse, anger management, substance abuse, other mental health issues, marriage / relationship counseling, severe mental impairment, and cognitive disabilities.
 

Contract Staff and Referrals 

We are committed to making sure you get whatever services you need, whether that is with our regular therapists or with "outside" clinicians we contract specifically to help you (e.g. psychological evaluations).  We will also be happy to refer you to any other agencies, practices, or sources of help that might be a good fit for you and your specific needs.
